Getting students ready for the school year
With the backpack drive our goal is to raise funds and supplies to build backpacks that the underprivileged students in our community need to start the school year.
We are partnering with local school districts who have identified the need. This is our first year doing this type of event.
Where Raise One for the Kids started
This is where Raise One for the Kids started. Chris had an idea to collect toys to distribute to kids in the community who are in need. He roped in his friend, Chad, to help. The two went around the Fullerton community placing boxes in business to collect toys.
At that point they needed more help, so John came on board. We partnered with the Fullerton Police Department who helped distribute the toys to those in need.
We thought we might raise around 500 toys but due to the generosity of the community we brought over 2,500 toys. With this success we decided to continue and become a non-profit organization to continue with events throughout the year.

Raise One For The Kids Fundraising Event
An evening at Ambassador Cigar Lounge in Placentia, with every ticket supporting local kids in need.
Each ticket included 1 premium cigar, 1 drink ticket, and appetizers.
We turn community partnerships into practical help for local kids.
